You don’t have to be a friend to everyone to be a good person. Because being a good person doesn’t only require being kind. Being a good person is pointing out faults, correcting toxicity, hating injustice. Being a good person is living in truth and equity. Being a good person means calling out someone’s wrongdoing even when they are your friend, even when you know it might cause them to draw hate towards you. You don’t have to support people in everything they do to have a good heart. You can correct and criticize, you can be disliked and still be a good person.
